Size & Fit Guide - Akubra

Akubra hats are made from firm rabbit fur felt with a leather sweatband that shapes naturally to your head over time for a secure and comfortable fit.

If you're between sizes, most customers choose the larger size for comfort.

How to measure

Measure around your head approximately 1–2cm above the ears and across the middle of your forehead where the hat will sit.

Keep the tape firm and level around your head when measuring.

If your measurement falls between sizes, most customers choose the next size up.

Helpful fit advice

The leather inner sweatband may tighten slightly with wear, so avoid choosing a hat that feels too tight initially. The best thing you can do is try on a hat in-store.

If your hat feels slightly loose, sizing strips placed behind the sweatband can help achieve a perfect fit as the hat shapes to your head.
