I have a question about a product:
We're a real store with staff who work 7 days a week. If you have a query about anything at all, the quickest way to find the answer is to give us a call on 8323 8299. We're happy to help.
Do you offer sales and promotions?
Many businesses operate by inflating prices in order to offer deep discounts at a later date (i.e., Member only deals, Boxing Day Sales, Black Friday sales.) We don't participate in that because it's in our ethos to offer affordable pricing every day to everyone.
However...
Twice a year, we have a genuine seasonal clearance sale with prices up to 50% off in-store. Follow us on socials + subscribe to our newsletter to be the first to know when sales are released.

What are your shipping costs?
We offer free standard shipping on orders over $100 within Australia (2-8 business days). For orders under $100, standard shipping is $9.95.
Express shipping is available for a flat rate of $15.00.
Do you ship to New Zealand?

What is the return window?
We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in “as sold” condition with tags attached—ideally, a receipt or online order number.
Please note: We accept both full price and sale items for a refund or exchange. Underwear, swimwear, gift cards and clearance items are all final sale. Returns will not be accepted.

What items are non-returnable?
Underwear, swimwear, gift cards and clearance items are all final sale. Returns will not be accepted.
I've ordered the wrong size. How do I initiate an exchange?
Send us back the item with the details of your exchange written on the packing slip. From there, we will contact you to confirm and then ship a replacement.
Please note: Returns are shipped at customer expense.

I've been sent the wrong item. What do I do?
Contact us asap so we can make it right. Call 8323 8299 or email matt@theblokeshop.com.au.
My item appears to be damaged.
Please inspect your order upon receiving and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
When will I receive a refund on a returned item?
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund, too. If more than 15 business days have passed since we’ve approved your return, please contact us at matt@theblokeshop.com.au.
Why doesn't my $10 OFF promotion code work?
Please check that your order total is over $75, not including shipping. Our system generates a discount, and the totals need to be over $75; otherwise, the discount cannot be applied.
Why do you offer such a big discount for signing up for your mailing list?
We like to see it as a gesture of goodwill. You trust us with your email address [and maybe read our emails once in a while], and we are happy to offer you a sweet deal.
Do you have a store I can shop at in person?
Yes. The bricks-and-mortar Bloke Shop is located at 1/203 Main Rd, in beautiful McLaren Vale. Visit us in-store for a huge range of items and brands that aren't currently displayed online + our top-notch sales section is not to be missed.
Do you offer parking?
The beauty of operating rurally is that we have ample, easy-to-access, FREE parking right out front. You can park just metres from the front door and walk right in - there’s even a ramp.
Do you offer wheelchair access?
Yes. Our shop has a wheelchair access ramp, accessible from the footpath on the Main Road.
Is it possible to place a customer order?
That's a huge focus for us. We often place specialty orders for workwear, clubs, uniforms and hard-to-find sizes. Most stock service items are available for special order. Please contact Matt matt@theblokeshop.com.au with your request.
Who owns The Bloke Shop?
The Bloke Shop was created and launched by McLaren Vale local, Ross Bailey in 2003. Twenty years later, in 2023, Ross retired, and his eldest son, Matt Bailey, took the reins.
The Bloke Shop remains a local family-run business with Matt's wife and younger brother also working in marketing and operations.
